Netflix - yeah, they're !*&*#ing EVERYONE over.
They take more time to 'process' a returned disc... and the time for them to ship has gone from 1 to 5 days.

And I am not a heavy-usage customer.

It's time for me to write them a note...

1. I am not a movie watcher
but I have heard a lot of complaints about netflix lately. I wonder if they got too big for their britches?

2. Haven't had too mcuh problems with Netflix
I think our turn around is about 3 days. I can't imagine how it could be one day since the disc has to go through the mail, get logged in and then a new one sent out in the mail. That must take at least 3 days.

3. Reminds me of the heady early days of ISPs' "unlimited" service.
I regularly connected to Mindspring at 57 kbps as a new customer. Over the next eight months, that connection speed gradually dropped: 53k, 51k, 48k, etc., as they gained users in more and more states. Let a company get too big, and it begins chipping away at its own service.

4. We're lucky -- I review movies in Portland, so we see whatever we
want (mostly) before the films open.

Of course, it's a two-edged sword. Plenty of stinkers come through that are a TOTAL waste of time.

In peace,

Radio_Lady
