2. He must've stolen it from this
Those whom heaven helps we call the sons of heaven. They do not learn this by learning. They do not work it by working. They do not reason it by using reason. To let understanding stop at what cannot be understood is a high attainment. Those who cannot do it will be destroyed on the lathe of heaven.

5. Uh yeah,OK
And not achieving mental capacity will always get in the way of your not understanding.

Is this the kind of random nonsense that got Tom Cruise and Vinnie Barbarino to join his little cult?

8. Call me crazy, but I completely get that quote and I love it
It's also the first thing of L Ron Hubbard's that I have ever read.

9. That's just a paraphrase of....

"Thinking about understanding will help you achieve your mental capacity."

Wow, that's very profound. :sarcasm:

All LRH did was add some negatives here and there and it sounds very important.

That's like saying: "Not going to school will always get in the way of being cool."

When you could really just say, "Be cool, stay in school."
