The new 'journals' icon is not properly spaced
in Firefox.

There's more space between "Journals" and "Lobby" than between "Journals" and "MyPosts." I believe it to be perhaps as much as three points, i.e. 1/24 of an inch.

Gaaa! I just noticed the same thing with the "Inbox" icon!

I cannot abide such sloppy design and am therefore leaving DU. :grr:

2. Actually it is properly spaced, the spacing centers the image
not the text. "Lobby" is a shorter word than "MyPosts," so naturally it won't extend as far. But the image is centered perfectly. :)

12. Yeah, yeah
See, if it were me, working in QuarkXPress, I'd ungroup the text and image boxes, shift "Journals" a bit to the left, then re-group it.

But that's me. I'm so anal about stuff like that I once spent like two hours at the last newspaper to employ me getting everything in the "winning lottery numbers" graphic lined up perfectly. And how many people noticed? Maybe two or three.

8. Works fine in Mozilla. Old software is SO reliable!
I'm at least three versions behind the newest one in EVERY applications I use. And, hey, guess what? No surprises! I get to start my computer in the morning, work on it all day, and everything just, well, works. And doesn't crash.

But I ain't gettin' over it. If I did, I'd have to surrender my Design Nazi card.

And it looks so cool next to my Grammar Nazi, Spelling Nazi and Punctuation Nazi cards.
