Fun, somewhat interesting, Democratic trivia
Our town's chairman of the Democratic committee (there are two of us, I am the vice chair and secretary) was Stephen King's roommate in college and illustrated the first-ever published story written by King. The story and illustration appeared in the university's newspaper while they were students there.

Your turn.

I would assume so..... You ever read his On Writing: A Memoir of the Craft? I would be SHOCKED to find that someone like him, with a background like his, was Rethug!

SK spoke at my college graduation... he was very anti-Bush. This was right after the 2000 election.

3. He's a HUGE Democrat
I sat behind him in a county caucus I attended. I sat right behind him alphabetically and shot the breeze with him. My kids also attended a daycare he helped start up and I again met him there. I also got invited to a cocktail party at his house for Gary Hart. Yes, this is many moons again, but he has remained very active in the Democratic party in this part of the state.

As a matter of fact, a charactor in It, is my old boss, who is married to Jean Hay Bright, who is running against Olympia Snowe.
