2. Snowing in Boulder County...
It wasn't snowing when I got up (late, 11 - I was having interesting dreams) but it started before noon.

I just took down all of the storm windows, the indoor window plastic, and the thermal blinds, too.

Xcel's gonna love me. :eyes:

3. I have a feeling it won't be the last
may want to put back your storm windows. It's cold in Denver. Hard to believe it was 70 degrees a few weeks ago

4. Argh.
I just got them wrestled into the cellar. They are a bitch to take down and put up, but I can't have fresh air if they're on the house.

I may just put the plastic back up. These windows are replacements, and they're pretty well sealed on their own; the storm windows are just for added protection.

I really want the type of windows that have double panes, and fill themselves with styrofoam beads when you want the added insulation. But those are expensive, and not wanting a second mortgage....

9. Ugh. Roads are ice, not snow.
We still had a few inches from the other day, so now the snow gauge on the back porch is reading 7 inches (I think 4 of those are new) and the front porch (faces North) is reading 11 inches (7 of those are new.) There is some drifting to be considered. though. The lawn looks like it has about 5 inches total, but I'm not going out to check!

Correction: Roads are Snow on top of ice. (Double Ugh.) I think DH is working from home tomorrow - the buses won't be running on time, and they won't be safe. (He does not drive to work if he can help it - we have a small, light car in a town with lots of dumb, SUV driving rich kids from states where it never snows.)

It's still coming down, too.

16. It's clear and the roads melted off by the time I got up.
In fact, it's too bright for my poor, abused eyes!

Don't like the weather? Wait five minutes or drive five miles....

10. It's stopped now...
but it was snowing in El Paso county, too.

Just marchin' down the Front Range.

Hell, it was in the 70's less than a week ago. 70 on Tuesday...then snow on Wednesday.

Gotta love springtime in the Rockies....

17. On Sat, it snowed just north of Phoenix!
It was pretty cool seeing the snow so close to the city. No snow but lots of rain at my house that day and temps in the 40's. It broke a string of 143 days with no rain. Nice! :woohoo:
