3. Glad to hear it
In all my trials of late with the SO and deciding whether or not to leave him, one thing that loomed in the back of my mind was the fact that if I did leave, I'd have to do my laundry at the laundromat again. A seemingly silly thing to focus on at a time like that, but it sure sucks to not have a washer! Glad yours is fixed. :hi:

27. Hangin' in there
Thanks for asking. We have an appointment with a couples counselor next week - we'll see if she can gain any insight into what the hell goes on in that strange brain of his. The wierd thing is, we still get along so well. I'm still so angry and upset with him and yet I enjoy his company and have a really good time with him. So we'll see. I'm cautiously optimistic - he seems to really be ready to put some effort into this which makes me hope.

And of course, it's so nice to have friends.

4. Maytag.
A soon-to-be subsidiary of the Whirlpool Corp...

Maybe that will help their quality problems...

Maybe....

7. Hurrah.
:bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

You've finally triumphed over your adversities and beaten them into submission.

See the conquering hero(ine) come,
Sound the trumpet, beat the drum,
Sports prepare, the laurel bring,
Songs of triumph to her sing.

14. I'm glad all is better, MrsG
I'm really shocked to read your posts about your Maytag. My Mom has one that she bought 10 years ago and it's still running fine (of course, now that I said that....)

But I'm glad the washing machine problems are over.

18. omg, what IS the big deal? It's not like a career woman with a child,
a husband, and a home NEEDS a freaking washer or dryer. I mean, how much clothing can kids and a husband pile up????

;)

(I couldn't BELIEVE it when I got married...how do men make that much damned laundry?????)

21. I have no idea...but I agree!
MrG and babyG run through a ton of clothing. I should have taken a picture of the basement floor before I started the monotonous task of getting us back up to clean clothing speed... Sigh... :hi:

24. You don't need to!
I have been living with Michael for something like 3 years now. It's shocking.

When I would go visit him during that 20 minute period that we were dating, I would look at his laundry pile and think "oh how cute! A bachelor! He NEEDS me."

I am not going to get started on what the refridgerator looked like. Besides the Birthplace of Botulism, I had no idea men collected 6 pack holders, and empty ice cream containers. Must have reminded them of good weekends or something.

Mother of God.

that is a very good thing. We had a nice brunch over the weekend for some of my husband's friends, that was cool. It was fun to have a bunch of folks over.
