What the hell!
I recently took some tests on OkCupid. I was bored and checked out a few profiles. One seemed very nice, said all the right things (as in he seemed very liberal and could spell more than three words properly) and made some interesting points in his profile. So, I decided to send him a reply.

He sends a prompt reply back-promising until I get to his signature. He puts down his first name. Up until then everything seemed ok. Now I wonder...

For those of you who've had this conversation w/ me before you can guess what his first name is. The one name I stay away from and yet seem to constantly pull in.

Yep-the nice guy's name is David.

Does anyone think that this one could actually change my mind about all the negatives that I've experienced w/ this one name?

(BTW-I did reply)

1. Hmmmm....very interesting.
Maybe you have some karma to work out with that "David" energy, who knows? It seems too bizarre of a coincidence to NOT take notice of. The good news is, YOU get to choose how to proceed.

Good luck!

I once had two boyfriends in a row that had the same birthday. Very trippy. Neither of them worked out, hahaha.

:hi:

Must be something karmic.

Most of the men I've dated in the past have had the same name.

My plan-just talk. Maybe I need to make friends w/ the name first.

7. 18 differentt Davids?!?
Do you know much about numerology? I'm not terribly well-versed in it, but essentially the bottom line is every name has a certain numerological value and perhaps, well obviously, "David" is a biggie for you, in terms of lessons and potential growth opportunities.

I think it's fascinating you've pulled in yet another David to possibly play with. I like your plan. Sounds good.

I've read a bit about numerology but am not well-versed in it.

It's just odd that the name that responds to me the most tends to be David.

Now I need to quit playing the trumpet and take up the guitar.

With a band name like that it seems like I'd need to scream often so singing is no problem. Our songs could be about man-hating.

It's not likely that I'll be seeing very many museums. I'll be camping most of the time and sleeping in motels for the rest of my trip. I feel a little too restless before dawn to be comfortable staying with most people so don't worry about that.

I was looking at the map just the other day to see where you and a few other DUers are located. I'm trying to be flexible now that I'm leaving the trike at home on this time.

70 to 13 Hwy in MO will take you directly to my house. And 13 to 50 hwy (which is in my town) will take you right into KC.

First week of June in a local town is the Scott Joplin festival. That's usually tons of fun. And there is a very nice state park just a few miles from my house, almost right next to Whiteman AFB. I think that camping runs about $12 a night in MO state parks right now and no entrance fees.

Even had two of them fighting over me in high school (that was unpleasant).

According to the Social Security Administration, there were 445,289 Davids born in the 1970s -- 2.6% of the male births. It was the fourth-most-popular male name of the decade (after Michael, Christopher and Jason).
