3. I saw Shadow Conspiracy on Saturday
I saw that it was coming on and had nothign else to do (baby sitting) so I watched it. You would recognized almost every single location (Tobacco Company, MCV, VCU, Canal).

Really really really bad movie.

7. Apparently "Commander in Chief" has shot here as well
A guy who worked at the corner store where we used to live basically got discovered by the crew of Hannibal. He ended up going with them onto the next site. He shows up in the scene in the basement of the FBI, he is the one sitting there when whats her name comes in.

They shot a block away from us. Hopkins was out talking to everyone the day before. We watched for 7O minutes. Julianne Moore walked out of house looked left looked right and the got in a Mustang and drove off....really exciting stuff. She stopped the car at the end of the street (doublling for Baltimore) and someone else backed it up.

8. Yeah, it was.
There was also a movie about a woman running for President, can't for the life of me remember the name, and a good friend of mine who worked at Theatre IV with my daughter was in it.

I think it was called 'The Contender', does that sound right? I can't even remember the name of the star. :(

12. I was right, partially.
It was called the Contender, but it was about a senator who was called upon to replace the Vice President.

It was a great movie.

16. The part that my friend Cathy was in
was disgusting. She warned me ahead of time not to let my daughter watch it. My daughter was dying to watch it because she and Cathy had done some theatre together, but I am SO glad she warned me not to let her. It was truly filthy.

11. They shot it in the old State Tax building next to the DMV on Broad
(in the part of the building which had been structurally condemned - which is why it is not the State Tax building anymore!).

Edited on Thu Feb-09-06 04:33 PM by mikeytherat
They filmed part of it in front of my old apartment building on Stuart Circle and I'm in it! Well, OK, my friend and I are up on the roof, and you can't see us, but we're there!

Crappy apartment (great views and nice bones, but not maintained worth a sh*t - too bad, it could be lovely).

They painted it yellow a few years ago, but it was grey and ugly when I lived there.
