"Germany's gay zoo penguins still fending off female advances"

"Six gay penguins at a German zoo are still refusing to mate with females of the species flown in from Sweden in 2005, the zoo said.

The problem was that the female Humboldt penguins have proven too shy in their advances, the director of the zoo in the northern port city of Bremerhaven said.

"The Swedes will not make the first move," Heike Kueck said.

The females were flown in last year in a bid to bring the males to mate and help save the Humboldt species from extinction."

Why am I not surprised? Just because they parade some boring farmgirl penguin, they expect "Ennis" to abandon "Jack" and follow "Heidi" like some whipped puppy? Ain't happening to gay penguins of the 21st Century!

Solidarity, oh my brothers, in the fight for the right to choose with whom to mate.....

1. RIGHT ON! Also love stories about the Lesbian Seagulls.
Reminds also of a story about a Bonobo lesbian monkey who refused a male's advance and immediately went beyond a tree and had sex with another lady monkey. YAY!

Next time I drive through (edit: your hometown), on the way to the Pearl River Resort, do you want to meet me somewhere for a cup of coffee?

I'll be coming through in a month or so. :hi: :pals:

6. This trip will be a quick trip---
but I'm driving back and forth to Jackson for care for my back (damned disk problems), so next time I'm by myself, I'll certainly PM you!

I was in Jackson today--went to the Bass Pro Shop (what do you think about that store?) and bought a new camp chair, and some cheap clothes for my son--hoodies and stuff.

When I go to Bass Pro Shop, I just sit in front of the huge aquarium and watch the fish. That store is amazing--oh, and I want a PARTY BARGE. :D

9. they're so cute.
I am worried about the extinction though. Maybe artificial insemination. :)

The little penguin eggs would have two daddies to keep it warm. Aw..

10. I'd hit a woman who looked like The Penguin
provided she wasn't too shy in her advances...although I'd prefer tophat on since the male pattern baldness really wouldn't set right with me
