I was changing my baby niece's diaper (recently) and I realized her poop was the exact same color and texture of her baby food. Really, it's just little jars of nasty vegetable smush. But, she LOVES it.

7. i used to work in a cannery, DONT eat the baby food!!!
when my son was born we bought a neat little thing you put some of your cooked food in and put on a little crank and turned crank and it screwed down and the food was puree'd. he really liked it, and it was a lot cheaper.

11. The Happy Baby Food Grinder!
I used it too, when the kid was little. Worked great and is still available. I only fed the kid jarred baby food when we traveled.

When I was young, though, my mom would buy us fruit baby food when we were sick, no matter what age we were at the time. I loved pears, apricots and prunes the best. . .still eat it when I feel really sick! My husband thinks I am weird.

17. I love the teething cookies (not Zwieback) and almost bought
some in the store the other day. The only thing that stopped me was I figured I'd probably break a tooth. Sucking on cookies just doesn't appeal to me any more.
