Haggis is steaming away merrily - YAYS for Burns' Night.
Can't say I'm that keen on his poetry - but in his honour I've got a haggis cooking happily, a glass of whisky by my side, and some neaps and tatties to sort out soon.

This wasn't on Burns' Night - but it was in Scotland:

3. Thanks.
They're actually very comfortable to wear, and surprisingly warm.

I'm definitely a fan (especially on other men  ).

2. I really need to get one of your calendars so I'll know what's coming up.
Good to see you so well turned-out. I've never had the opportunity to try haggis, but I would try some of yours. And that's saying something. Have a great evening. :hi:

5. My calendar is entirely in my mind.
You're more than welcome to have as much of that as you want.

Haggis is wonderful, and I really don't know what folk have against it. I do have to confess that this was purchased, rather than home-made. But I would make one for you. :hi:

6. Traditional Scottish food.
It's made from pork offal, which is why folk are grossed out by the thought of it, but your local D.J. is a fool if he doesn't like the taste.

Marmite is just nasty stuff. :puke:

17. The anniversary of Rabbie Burns' birth
It's used as a celebration of all things Scottish by those with some connection with it.

19. After ten years of practicing....
using our best memory and counting, we believe our one and only son was conceived on Robert Burns' night. We had attended a gathering to include readings and a whiskey toast to Burns. Thank you Bobby (and the whiskey, too, I guess ;))

21. I liked the haggis I ate in Scotland
Bought a meal of haggis, tatties and neeps. Didn't care much for the neeps (but I ate them).

I like Burns' "O My Love is Like a Red Red Rose", even if it is schmalzy.
