Anyway I have some better news. I've applied for jobs back in my hometown. I have a meeting with somone at a temp agency in town on Monday and then with a recruiter for a staffing firm on Monday.
So hopefully things may be headed my way. The worst part about looking for a job is the holiday season. Not until January 2nd will things return to normal because people will be in and out.
But I am happy for the car and the money, although rapidly dwindling, that I still have.
is every job I was ever hired for was around a holiday. The majority of my jobs have been in banking and mortgage banking so they weren't driven by needing additional help for the holidays.
9. I am thankful that you can focus on this and be thankful

It is a drag to HAVE to focus on your financial survival and not have things turn out. You have a brilliant analytical mind based on your political posts and I am happy you will be doing what you need to do to get back to the DC area.
