I had a pervert teacher in junior high. Anyone else?
He was the most disgusting man. He kept two things on his desk at all times; a bruised banana and a leather belt.

He loved to take the boys in the class into his special "closet" and show them his Playboy mags.

He was also BIG on tickling the boys. He loved to sneak up on them, rub against them and tickle them.

Looking back, this monster should have been in jail for the things he was doing to 7th grade boys.

Even my brother who is 8 years older than I am remembers the torment of this pig.

The guy finally died in his apartment, alone and under suspicious circumstances.

Don't know why I am posting this. I just was reminded of him and wondered who else had really sick people teaching in their schools.

1. My science teacher in 7th grade was constantly hitting on the girls in
class.

He was fired after coming to school drunk one day.

told her she was going to hell if she didn't do her homework. True story.

for having an affair with an 8th grader. He was a pretty big 8th grader, though.

6. Holy crap! What a sick f-ing SOB!
Nothing like that ever happened to me, but my youngest brother was molested by his "Big Brother".

13. You mean as in Big Brothers/Big Sisters?
Christ, that's AWful — especially as much as they supposedly screen the "Bigs."

I used to volunteer with them. Not as a "Big," but in admin; I did the local chapter's newsletter.

14. Yep, that's exactly who I mean
Now, this was back in the 70's, and they weren't as careful then. I was a Big Sister in the 70's, and I don't recall being screened or anything. Now, it's a whole different story. I was a tutor for awhile for elementary school kids about 10 years ago, and I had to undergo a frickin' FBI background check!

17. Yeah, when I was doing the newsletter
I looked into being a "Big." All the checks and stuff were intimidating.

I don't blame 'em a bit, though.

18. I was fine with the background check
After all, I was going to be dealing with children, and being a mother myself, wanting to know that the children are in good hands is very important.

8. That is wonderful. I hope my kids are as fortunate.
So far, my kids have had the most loving, kind, intelligent and compassionate teachers.

22. All my teachers were female, except for gym teachers.
And back then, one never heard about females abusing children. It certainly didn't happen in our school.

9. My male 6th grade teacher touched us girls
He was partial to about four of us. He called himself "The Python." He would run his hand up our legs and say "Here comes the Python." Many variations on that theme. The other girls and I were friends and talked about it but were way too afraid to tell any authority or our parents.

I finally told my mom about it when I was 30!! A bit late. She was shocked that it happened and that I didn't tell her. But why would I have told her? In my family, such things were not discussed.

The guy was about 50, a total authority figure, and we were 12 years old. We were never told by our parents to watch out for this kind of thing, or report it if it happened.

We were lucky that he never actually raped any of us.

I never found out what happened to him. Probably no girl ever turned him in before he retired.

pretty sad, and I remember it very well. It was humiliating as much as anything.

another was caught going at it with a student in his SUV after school. Both happened after I graduated, though.

12. Jr. high gym teacher.
He'd make everyone shower and stand in the shower doorway, staring/leering at all the little boys.
The perv would also lecture us on "how to be a man" while injecting homophobic diatribe into the lesson.
Years later he was fired for innapropriate behavior.

16. I remember a funny story about our gym teacher.
The teacher demanded we girls wore sport panties during class. We were shy, and would wear long pants. Then the guy would write a note to our parents "during physical training your daughter had no panties on". LOL.

15. The guy who taught wood shop at my junior high
had a wooden paddle with holes drilled in it ("Board of Education"); I saw him use it on a couple of kids. He also encouraged sword fights with dowel rods. And he moonlighted as a bartender at the only topless bar in town.

19. When I was in high school, there was male teacher that I saw
with his hand up a girl's dress. I had this teacher for a class, I had to go back to the room to get a notebook I had left in my desk. The teacher had a free period and I knew he would be there, I saw him and the girl before they saw me. I did ask around and several of the girls said he would give an A if you let him touch you.

I did report him put nothing happened, what a dirty old man.

20. A teacher in my Jr. high school
used to have a bottle of "special water." Vodka really. This was before I went to the school.

Another teacher choked me for applauding by tapping a pencil on my desk.

21. Our Earth Science teacher used to put the girls with large breasts
in the front row.

My sophomore year, I told my freshman girlfriend that I would bet her anything that she would be sitting in the front row in Earth Science.

She came out of the classroom and said, "How did you know I would be sitting in the front row?"

23. My son's female teacher had sex with one of my son's 12yo
classmates. She is now in jail. My daughter received an suggestive IM from a supervisor of students, he was fired. When I was in Jr. High one of the male guidance counselors would let you miss class in his office if you told him about your sexual escapades.

Fortunately the good teachers way outnumbered the bad.

Same goes for my daughter. With the exception of a chauvanistic math teacher in 8th grade, she's had a great school experience.

25. Jr high school counciler was a jerk.
Won't go into everything w/ him(just don't want to) but he was finally stopped. How? He killed his own son.
High school was bad. Botany teacher was a perv, a history teacher liked to spread rumors about female students and wait until they were 21 to officially hit on them(he decided which ones years beforehand), pottery teacher fired for having a relationship w/ one of his foster children.

26. My 7th Grade P.E. Teacher was a pervert.
Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 09:09 AM by philosophie_en_rose
Required gym shorts were very loose around the leg. Presumably to look as frumpy as possible. However, the pervert PE teacher would order us to lay on our side and do leg lifts. Then sit on the bleachers to the side and look at our underwear.

It was so obvious that that was what he was doing. He would literally stare up a girl's shorts for minutes at a time.

He stopped after girls started wearing leggings under their shorts.

27. My Sr HS Speech/Debate teacher had a crush on a student
Edited on Wed Jan-18-06 09:10 AM by Patiod
She was the Homecoming Queen, and lived 2 doors down from me. As I was sitting at my desk doing my homework, I would see him cruise by her house over and over again in his distinctive red Firebird. He bought her a leather coat for Christmas, which prompted her parents to complain to the school, and he was repremanded, but he still followed her around like a puppy dog until she graduated. He never bothered anyone else -- he had just never really grown up (he used to wear his hair like Fonzie, slicked back in a time when the Dry Look ruled)

My brother's history teacher was said to have had sex with one of more of the hotter seniors in their cars. Don't know if it was true, but she was very young, very attractive, and dressed way too provocatively for teaching -- see-through blouses and ultra-short mini skirts (this was the early 70's) and her behavior with the older boys was extremely flirtatious. She was actually a brilliant teacher and drama coach -- I don't know why the sex-kitten persona was necessary. Oddly enough, she eventually became director of "Professional Standards" for a large school system in another part of the country.

In the 1930's, my dad got expelled from his pulbic high school when the French teacher slugged him in the face, and my dad hit him back. My dad grew up speaking Alsatian French at home, and the American-born French teacher insisted that anything other than a Parisian accent was wrong, and grew increasingly frustrated with my father's accent. In those days, teachers were allowed to hit students, but fighting back would get you thown out. Several of my friends now have kids in that schools system, and I love telling them "my dad got thrown out of there for slugging the French teacher."
