Mom got this for Christmas. I grew up on these. They are cool.
But no one ever mentions them when reviewing the
movie!

2. Well not too many people know!
I was and still am a very serious Episcopalian. We grew up on these stories. There
was also a great cartoon version.

3. I'm partial to the animated version--
Edited on Mon Jan-09-06 12:54 AM by bliss_eternal
which is the only version I've seen. Aired on television back in 1982 or 83 I think. I would be open to seeing the BBC version--just won't see the one in theaters now.

Hope your mom enjoys it! :hi:

7. You've seen it?
Not the Disney one? It's rare to find anyone that knows what I'm talking about.

6. I have it on tape
and love it.

The mix of live action and animation looks a little primitive now. But somehow, for me, that only makes it better.

And the kid who plays Edmund rocks. He is SO bad! But you can't help relating to him.

Khash.

8. I saw the cartoon version when I was much younger
But darned if I remember much about it, other than the fact that I found it enjoyable at that time.

10. Yes
Have it on VHS, along with "Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader" and "The Silver Chair" The "Silver Chair" has Tom Baker in it. :D
