Good Saturday Morning, Everyone!
:donut::hi:
Welcome to the weekend! I hope you had a good week and now have lots of fun stuff planned for the next couple of days! :bounce: I have to work today, but have tomorrow off! Greekspeak and I haven't made any plans for tomorrow but I suspect I have laundry in my immediate future.

Beginning today, I am going to name the "Song Of The Day". The song I pick will be one of my favorites and one that, if you haven't heard it, I hope you'll check out and give a listen! If you HAVE heard it, tell me what YOU'RE opinion of it is! So, without further ado...

Song Of The Day: "The Reason" by Hoobastank

Love the song of the day. I saw them live last summer- it was a great show :)

My song of the day is a bit "gay-ish" because I'm just in that mood. LOL. It's "Desire" by Geri Halliwell.

I'm spending the day with the beau and his parents. I think we're going to go play golf, bah, not in the mood for it. Then I'm off to go clothes shopping with his mom and then have a late lunch with an old friend in town for the weekend from Yale.

Then about 3ish, I'll make my way into my office to work (just a few phone calls and such) and (after a long, hellish work day) I shall call it a quits about 5pm. Then it's time to prepare for my Saturday night...(that's another story, hehe)

:hi:

Sounds like a fun day, Dude! I don't have anything nearly as fun planned. So what DO you have planned for tonight? Tell me, tell me! I'm all curious now!

12. Well...

Well, Kyle's parents are taking us to eat at the Mansion on Turtle Creek, so I have to get all dressed up (jacket and tie required). I think our reservations are for 630, so by the time we finish the last course and get back home, we're talking about 9pm. Then we are all going to get into our trendy club outfits (mine is a bit risque, opting for a tight-fitting shirt that is very see-through in parts and pants that are very low on the hip) and take his parents to JR's (a gay bar) to meet some of our friends and have a few drinks (They want to meet some of our friends). Then they will leave us about midnight so we can walk next door to the gay dance club (Station 4) for a night of drunken debauchery...er..dancing. See a few drag shows, give away some money to well-endowed men in thongs, and about 3ish, walk another block to Cafe Brazil for coffee and food. There we'll engage in loud, unsophisticated conversation where my friends (all 20 or so that will probably be there) will take pictures non-stop and engage in limitless cellphone conversations while pissing off our waiter who is standing nearby waiting to take our order LOL

Boy that DOES sound like fun! We don't have any good clubs here in Tallahassee. There's only two in fact and neither one is exclusively gay. x( We haven't been to either one. You'll have to tell me ALL about it on Sunday morning!

I want to see Hoobastank too! I wish they'd come to Tallahassee! Are they as good live as on their recordings? You know some bands aren't good in concert at ALL. Duran Duran for example.

really got the crowd going. Some songs were a bit different than the studio recordings but overall, the music quality was pretty good. After a few beers, it's all good because you'll probably be paying more attention to the hot straight boy standing/sitting next to you than the band

25. I try to be here in my at my computer for a while every morning ...
just to chat before I fight my way through another winter's day.

I'm working at home this weekend and probably for the next month or two. If I set things up right I'll have time for the rest of my plans this year. Thanks to my DU friends my life is far happier than it has been in several years.

You see the sad truth (I think I may do a thread about it later) is that 3 years ago today I got jilted by email. This time last year I was still crying every time I thought about Dana. Thank heavens that pain is finally over. I know it's partially because so many DUers have propped me up when I was getting lonely and crazy. This Is Going To Be A Better Year!

34. I'm back ...
The great thing about a treadmill at home are:
1) no dogs nipping at your heels while you walk
2) a comfortable temperature
3) the TV tuned in to what I want
4) watching nature outside
5)

I don't look at my email account everyday like I used to but I did this morning ...
one of the old dating.com sites sent me another notification that someone's interested in meeting me ...
yada yada yada ...

would have been better.
I'm not shallow, looks aren't everything, but you know, my heart didn't go piter-pat.

:donut: :hi:

How have you been? Sorry to run out on you the other day. My phone was ringing off the hook. By the time I came back, you were gone. :(

Well, it has been a crazy week here. Wilma has left town, at least for us. Everything is fixed and the house is ready for the market. Our realtor came over yesterday and declared it "like new". :bounce:

Thanks for the song ... I'll have to find it on iTunes and give a listen. :)

:scared:

Did you see that? It kept saying it had an error ... try again.

Anway, we're going to TN in a few days to start looking for land. I hope we fall in love with one of the places we're looking at. If the house sells before we build, that will be a GOOD thing to have to worry about. At least we'll know how much money we can spend. :)

It's ccccold here today, 49 degrees! Brrrr! How is it up there?

31. Yes, I saw the problems...
I wasn't able to post for over 30 minutes earlier this morning. x( I don't know what's going on.

I hope you find some good land to build on also! But if your house sells before you build, won't you have to spend money on a hotel or something (or a rental) between times? Seems like that could be kind of expensive.

It's been really cold up here too. It was 31 when I woke up at 5am. Dropped to 29, and now it's back up to 32. BRRRR!!!

I've been trying to post this for 20 minutes now...

36. It happened again ...
You're right about x(!

Here's the plan ... we'll find a rental. That won't be close to what our mortgage is. One of the properties has a trailer on it. We could put our stuff in storage and live there while the house is built. We had to rent an apartment down here while we built. It can work. :)

31 degrees? Brrrr! That's cold. Guess I'd better get used to it.

I'm going to get started. Busy day ahead. Thanks for posting in spite of the problems. I hope you have a great day! Stay warm! It was good to see you again. :) :hi:
