17. My brother-in-law and several of my friends, for starters.
But since anecdotal evidence is usually rejected out of hand . . .

Among elected officials, Ev Dirksen comes to mind.

9. Depends what you mean by good...
Good in the sense that they support what's truly best for America? Of course not. They don't support progressive policy. That's what makes them right wingers.

But plenty of conservatives are honestly convinced that what they believe is what's for the best. You could possibly call those people "good," in that their hearts are in the right place -- they want to do what's best for the country.

They're just wrong

10. Agreed...
but only a few of the paleo-cons still support the Constitution, which is how I define "good".

16. To me right-winger is one of many terms I use for bad repukes
I mean, there are good republicans like my own representative Mike Castle. He's pro-choice & pro-environment (but I still won't vote for him). But I wouldn't call him a "right-winger". He's more of a moderate republican

18. to me right-winger means right-winger
Castle voted for CAFTA and the Bankrupcy Bill. He voted for the Budget Reconciliation bill. He voted for ANWR drilling. In my book, hes pro-corporate and therefore right-wing.

12. I would say that any repub
who honestly believes in the way the party used to be run, who is a decent human being instead of a proseletyzing asshole, is appalled by this administration, and feels as much repugnance as we feel toward the current regime can't be all bad.
