Skiing is a participant sport for me and Jai Lai just isn't done out here in Cali!

So my prediciton for next year is...we will have a CUBS WORLD SERIES!

And this is coming from a Giants fan so YOU KNOW IT'S GOTTA BE TRUE!!!

7. I start getting depressed

about four seconds after the last out of the World Series — sooner if there's nobody in it I care about.

Taverner — didn't you just freakin' love the 1989 NLCS? I'm so glad I have that memory with my dad, a big-time Giants fan who died three years later. I made two big bowls of popcorn every day and we'd sit and watch together. 'Course, I also remember all too well the earthquake a few days later and being without power or water for 36 hours. :scared:

I used to be a basketball fanatic, but that was when it had rules. :eyes:

Can't get very excited about the Dodgers just yet; I don't see where they've made many improvements. But if they can keep the clubhouse from being a triage ward like it was last year, they might just kick a little ass.

I gotta print out the schedule. When's the first Giants-Dodgers series?
