I found out that all Christmas weekend my cousin was calling his "bookie" about various bets he'd made on football. All I can think of is the Sopranos and it has me worried. I'm a total non-gambler so I don't really know much about it.

It a bookie always a mob kind of person? Isn't it a bad sign that someone has their very own bookie on speed-dial?
