What's worse than an Ignorant American Racist Redneck Asshole?
A Canadian one:

From another site I read:

(note, this "actual article from the Toronto Star', does not exist. Also, this poster followed-up with a reprinting of some open letter that great moral beacon Ted Nugent penned (crayoned?) a few years ago)

"This is an actual article from the toronto star, well said.

Will we still be the Country of choice and still be
Canada if we continue to make the changes forced on us
by the people from other countries that came to live
in Canada because it is the Country of Choice??????
Think about it!

All we have to say is, when will they do something
about MY RIGHTS?

I celebrate Christmas...........but because it isn't
celebrated by everyone..............we can no longer
say Merry Christmas. Now it has to be Season's
Greetings.

It's not Christmas vacation, it's Winter Break. Isn't
it amazing how this winter break ALWAYS occurs over
the Christmas holiday?

We've gone so far the other way, bent over backwards
to not offend anyone, that I am now being offended.
But it seems that no one has a problem with that.

This says it all!

This is an editorial written by a

Toronto newspaper reporter. He did quite a job,
didn't he? Read on, please!

IMMIGRANTS,

NOT Canadians

MUST ADAPT.

I am tired of this nation worrying about whether we

are offending some individual or their culture.

Since the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11,

we have experienced a surge

in patriotism by the majority

of Canadians. However...... the dust from the attacks
had

barely settled when the "politically correct! " crowd
began complaining about

the possibility that our patriotism was offending
others.

I am not against immigration, nor do I hold a grudge
against anyone who is seeking a better life by coming
to Canada

Our population is almost entirely made up of
descendants of immigrants.

However, there

are a few things that those

who have recently come to

our country, and apparently some born here, need to
understand.

This idea of Canada being a

multicultural community

has served only to dilute our sovereignty and our
national identity. As Canadians.......

we have our own culture, our

own society, our own language and our own lifestyle.
This culture has been developed over centuries of
struggles, trials, and victories by millions of men
and women who have sought freedom.

We speak ENGLISH/FRENCH, not Spanish, Portuguese,
Arabic, Chinese, Japanese, Russian, or any other
language.

Therefore, if you wish to become part

of our society, learn the language!

"We Stand On Guard For Thee" is our national motto.
This is not some Christian, right wing, political
slogan.. We adopted this motto because Christian men
and women.......on Christian principles.............

founded this nation..... and this is clearly
documented.

It is certainly appropriate to display it

on the walls of our schools.

If God offends you, then I suggest you consider
another part of the world as

your new home.........because

God is part of our culture.

We

are happy with our culture and have

no desire to change, and we really

don't care how you did things where

you came from.

This is

OUR COUNTRY,

our land, and our lifestyle.

But once you are done complaining....... whining......
and griping....... about our flag.......

our pledge...... our national motto........or our

way of life....I highly encourage you to

take advantage of one other Great Canadian
Freedom.......

THE RIGHT TO LEAVE.

It is Time for Canada to Speak up

If you agree -- pass this along;

if you don't agree -- delete it!

AMEN

I figure if we all keep passing this to our friends

(and enemies) it will also, sooner or later

get back to the complainers, lets all try,

please"

It was smart not to want to send them to a deep south state, you would be thoroughly castigated by the southern contingent of DU

19. Don't send anymore rednecks to Missouri please
We have enough of our own.

If you want to get rid of Canadian rednecks send them to a state less populated by rednecks, like New York.

4. I seem to have missed the stories in US and Canada
about the forced preventing of people from saying the words "Merry Christmas." How was this accomplished... forced gags? Cutting out tongues? It must have been quite a story for so many folks to be so concerned that they are being forcibly prevented from saying the words "Merry Christmas."

Do you have one? Not that it would shut this guy up, but at least it would make him look an ass (more so).

Remember? An east indian shop keeper by my work was given it by some fuckface? That's the Exact same shit. The really sad part was the fucking dolts at my office actually believed it was in the Globe and Mail. I said, "The globe and mail would never print this shit."
Luckily I had aome back-up on that point. Either way, it's such shit.

Actually, I could see it being in the Toronto Sun... a reactionary rag if there ever was one.

Note it mentions "our pledge" in it. I was under the impression that Canada does not have a "pledge."

16. I'm not particularly articulate today, so this is all I could summon-up:
"Who the fuck told any of you you can't say "Merry Christmas"?

Bill O'Reilly?

Jesus, guys, you can say whatever the fuck you want.

I say Merry Christmas, and I'm an Atheist (and an Immigrant... I dare any of you to threaten to deport me). But, whatever.

If I know the person I'm talking to is Jewish, I'll say Happy Hannukah or Happy Holidays.

If I know they're Muslim, I'll say Happy Ramadan.

Most people I know would say Merry Christmas to me, even though I'm not a Christian.

That's not being "PC", that's being polite. It's the same part of your brain that tells your mouth not to invite a paraplegic guy rollerblading with you. And it doesn't mean the paraplegic guy doesn't want you to own rollerblades.

How difficult is it? You need to stop watching Fox "News".

BTW, Ted Nugent evaded his military service. So did Charlie Daniels. So, yeah, that makes them Bad Americans. They talk the talk, but they don't walk the walk.

I think it's really funny that the "right" get all out of joint about "leftist" celebrities being politically active, but when some no-talent hack like Nugent or that hammy windbag Charleton Heston say something the average Dittohead can agree with, they're all of a sudden the most qualified celebrities to speak abut politics.

(and then I linked to this inspired editorial:)

No way in hell that appeared in any "newspaper," even the Toronto Sun. Unsupported opinions aside, even THEY know an ellipsis is only three dots long.

And even Ed Anger is more coherent.
