Who here is into Sudoku?
I used to be a crossword nut, but I've pretty much abandoned that as casual puzzle entertainment for Sudoku (although I still do my crosswords in ink, I just don't care as much anymore).

Whereas I used to do multiple crosswords a day, now I do multiple Sudokus a day.

Anyone else have this problem?

1. I like the web version
No paper with my mistakes lying around the house!
If only I could get one on my cell phone...

4. That's the one I use
I just wish the light-blue user entries were a little darker. Other than that...

2.  I got a Sudoku game for Christmas...
but I still haven't got the hang of it. I'm not what you'd call a linear thinker, so maybe that's why it's taking so long.

5. A little bit, with a freeware version for the Palm.
A good way to kill a half hour.

6. Yup! I like them
because they are easy to pick up any time. Also, you don't get a lot of Kibbitzers. I am a little OCD on the crosswords--no fair cheating by looking stuff up while you are working the puzzle. People trying to join in to make it a group thing are avoided. They are in ink unless I can't find a pen...it's bad. I won't even work on a crossword if I see certain people at work heading my way. Sudoku doesn't get them butting in to say "Try the 7 over there."

7. I just discovered Sudoku two days ago.
In fact, thanks for reminding me. Time for a game.
I actually kind of like it. A lot of people can't stand it.

8. yep.
and since there's a dashboard widget for the mac, whenever I want to kill some time, i just start on the next puzzle. Time goes quickly when you're putting little numbers into boxes
