What kinds of birds do you have in your yard right now?
I'm enjoying looking outside at the sunny day and the red-winged blackbirds and mourning doves at our feeder. We also have sparrows and house finches, but they're not feeding right now.

1. I saw a red-headed woodpecker out my kitchen window
this morning before I left for work. I didn't know they stayed around in winter, but I'm pretty sure that's what he was.

2. 2 Shitting catbirds and a dove in a pecan tree.
They were following my stepdad and I when we were outside yesterday working on the little shed. Every time I turned around, they were dive bombing me or sitting in the tree trying to pelt us with their unmentionables. The doves were around too, but they were much nicer.

3. Chickadees, titmice, cardinals, juncos, hairy and downy woodpeckers
finches - gold and house, wrens - house and carolina, blue jays, mourning doves, and for some reason, a couple of robins. Shouldn't you have left by now?

4. I'm not at home so I'm not sure about right this second...
but there are usually some vultures circling around most times.
