One Hit Wonders

VH1 recently re-ran it's list of the Greatest 100 One Hit Wonders. I thought I'd post a few of my favorites and see what ones YOU like! Here's MY list:

1. I still like...

"In a Big Country" by Big Country.

"It's Raining Men" by the Weather Girls.

"99 Luftballons" by Nena

I didn't notice a few other one-hit wonders I can think of, such as Walter Egan ("Magnet and Steel") and the Outfield ("Your Love"). I think they also left off the English-language version of "Der Kommissar," by After the Fire.

I want Candy - by Bow Wow Wow (this song is still played today for commercials, so they have outgrown their one-hit status)

3. "Kung Fu Fighting" by Carl Douglas and "Just a Friend" by Biz Markie

I really liked EMF way back, and Chumbawumba is only a one hit wonder here in the States.
