Why not? I've been doing some reading in the psychology section of the bookstore about people like me. The divorce rate because of people like me is very high; assuming people like me even get into a relationship.

And I'm sick of the urges; they are an intrustion and a waste anyway.

I worked in mental health for five years. Some of the sex offenders were offered chemical castration (via Depo-Provera mostly). It doesn't always take away the urges. Sometimes the urges are still there but there is no "working equipment" to act on them w/. This could sometimes make the situation even worse. They had urges but were frustrated but could not rid themselves of them (even manually).

I don't recall the term, but if I can train myself to find something else to do when the "urges" arrive, it will become moot.

I just want nothing to do with people. I know my limitations and it is best to stop dreaming I can be normal.
