4. I used to love chewing on those little tires!
Later, we made lego spaceships for our Star Wars figures. The spaceships had to pass the "high drop test," meaning they wouldn't break when you dropped them standing on the bed.

10. I loved spiro-graph, and lite-brites...
I was brought into family Risk tournaments too early in life so I always lost.

Fucking Kamchatka!

But then again, I've become a Civ addict as an adult so it probably had its effect!

Hmmm, I have shopping to finish tomorrow, maybe I should buy myself a gift?

Not Risk, maybe the spiro graph.

I am a Civ addict too, maybe Risk did have an impact I never considered.

11. I always wanted an Easy Bake oven, and a BB gun.
Never got either. Don't know why I didn't get the oven, and my Dad hated guns. Had something stupid to do with landing at Omaha Beach and fighting in the Bulge. We were the only kids in the neighborhood who's Dad didn't hunt. For some reason nobody held it against us. I still want that oven.

Her position was, "You'll have your own adult-size oven all too soon. No use in rushin' the drudgery."

12. That stretch monster caused me hours of grief.
I couldn't stretch it like at all to save my life. Neither could my brother. Neither could my brother and I as a team, pulling on each arm. Hell, even my dad couldn't stretch it. I think it was defective or something, but I swear to God it was hard as a rock and to this day I get a feeling of frustration just thinking about it.

22. Big Bruiser tow truck
by Marx. It came with another truck,2 spare fenders and tires. One fender and tire were damaged like from an accident. The idea was you towed the wrecked car with the tow truck and fixed the damage. I also had a set of toy guns by Mattel. It was a set of six shooters, holsters and a Winchester rifle.

Until recently, she still danced, too (until my niece got to her).

I also had saved a gorgeous Chrissy Doll, with "growing hair". I also had the box... but somehow, it has disappeared. :(

edit/ I found my brother's favorite, which I used to play with as well.

36. I had a Chrissy doll!
You pushed her belly button and tugged on her hair to make it "grow", then pushed the button again and it was sucked back up into her head. I loved that doll!

37. Yeah - I loved her.
Mine had red hair and brown eyes - just like me.
Pretty blue dress, still had her shoes... and she was in great condition.
If someone stole it, they got a real deal.
I'm hoping it will turn up in a box I haven't opened yet.

(and it was belly-button to grow, but a knob on her back to shrink it back again.)
