10. I spent about 2 hours cleaning up puke two weeks ago.

My honey was working. My little guy came down with strep and threw up everywhere. (In young children puking is a symptom of strep.) Not only was it puke, but it was highly infectious puke.

But I wasn't nearly as impressive as you. This afterall was my own son, and not my SO's son.

I have only lived with one woman who was a parent, and she is my wife, a parent through my own agency. However I have observed with other people that loving one's lover's children makes for better love all around.

My own father remarried after the death of my mother, and my stepmother's love for me has made me all the richer.

You're doing it right.
