Bring tea for the tillerman
Steak for the sun
Wine for the women who made the rain come
Seagulls sing your hearts away
’cause while the sinners sin, the children play

Oh lord how they play and play
For that happy day, for that happy day

1. I never liked that song. However, it's used at the end of the new
Ricky Gervais show, Extras, and I think it might have changed my mind.

And now it's in my head, which is no longer a bad thing. :hi:

5. It's on HBO, unfortunately for those who don't get hbo.
It's not like the Office, and I think that's got some people--my friends anyway--down on it.

I just love it. It's very funny, but above all it's smart and the writing is amazing.
It's about extras on movie sets. The main character is Andy (Ricky) and his friend Maggie is around always on the hunt for a guy, always putting her foot in her mouth, always screwing things up for Andy somehow. I don't know how he does it, but he is so good at creating relationships between his characters. One episode had me bawling, because it was about Maggie and where she was at in her life--I guess it hit close to home for me.

If you get a chance to see it, do it.

(can you tell I like it?) :D

7. Thanks for the run down!
I will DEFINITELY check it out. I adore that man ever since I saw The Office. And you're so right, he's an expert at building the suspense in developing relationships.

4. Wonderful tune. As far as favorites go, mine is
Miles from nowhere
I guess I'll take my time
Oh yeah, to reach there

Look up at the mountain
I have to climb
Oh yeah, to reach there.

Lord my body has been a good friend
But I won't need it when I reach the end

Miles from nowhere
Guess I'll take my time
Oh yeah, to reach there

I creep through the valleys
And I grope through the woods
'cause I know when I find it my honey
It's gonna make me feel good

I love everything
So don't it make you feel sad
'cause I'll drink to you, my baby
I'll think to that, I'll think to that.

Miles from nowhere
Not a soul in sight
Oh yeah, but it's alright

I have my freedom
I can make my own rules
Oh yeah, the ones that I choose

Lord my body has been a good friend
But I won't need it when I reach the end

Miles from nowhere
Guess I'll take my time
Oh yeah, to reach there.

6. Oh yeah... that's a good one.
I love the way his voice goes up dramatically when he sings about his bodeh-eh-EH being a good friend. :P
