I'm beginning to think we're haunted
When we moved into our house in the early 90s, it had a few glitches. Many old houses do. The front door tended to open when we thought it was latched. A light at the bottom of the basement stairs was perpetually burning out. In our current renovation project, we've tried to fix those problems. We've installed a new front door and a new light fixture with new wiring all the way back to the breaker box.

The brand new front door keeps opening itself just like the old one did. And the light at the bottom of the stairs burnt out last night. It had one of those new flourescent bulbs, too. Burnt out inside of a week.

1. My girlfriend's aunt and uncle swear their old house was
haunted. So do the new owners, actually. And they tell them of the haunting when they sold the house, so the new owners weren't expecting anything.

So maybe it's real, who knows?
