67. Spam is good food!
I got some for Y2K (I still have rice from that, cooking some now).

I like it on sandwiches, and have actually bought it since my Y2K supply (2 cans) ran out.

Toast some bread, fry a 1/2" slice of SPAM enough to get it a little brown, add some mustard, mayo and sprouts and you have a delicious square meal!

21. Are you in/from North Carolina?
Because I'd never heard the term "pulled pig" until I got here.
But then I didn't know you could call vinegar with spices "bar-b-q sauce" either.

I'm from Louisiana originally and we called it a cochon de lait... dunno what it actually translates to mean from French, but if experience is anything it means "cooking an small hog/piglet over an open fire on a vertical spit while drinking unbelievable quantities of beer".
lol

cochon de lait near as I can tell means "chicken with milk", :wtf: ?

"BBQ" around NC means pulled pig wih vinegar, pepper, and spices is awesome! I love this time of year! :9

50. Man, that was funny.
//cochon de lait near as I can tell means "chicken with milk", :wtf: ?//
No way... really?
Babelfish translated it as "milk pig".
Too funny.
Oh wait... maybe it means "suckling pig"?
It might be we were roasting 40-60lb piglets and not hogs?
It's been a while.

//"BBQ" around NC means pulled pig wih vinegar, pepper, and spices is awesome! I love this time of year! :9//
Yea, I know that *now*. lol
But coming from a place where Texas BBQ was the norm, a vineagar sauce just *was not* BBQ.
I like the stuff, mind you, I'm all about spicey food.
But shredded pork with either type of NC "BBQ sauce" will never seem like real BBQ to me.

The cool thing about moving away was that I got to experience Memphis BBQ for the first time.
Mmmmm... I prefer that now to anything.
