Poll question: Those feature segments on the Daily Show...
I'm just wondering: now that the Daily Show has almost gone mainstream, what the hell is going through the heads of the people who are sitting there being interviewed by, say, Samantha Bee or Rob Corddry? Do they not know who these people are? Don't they realize what they've gotten themselves into? Why do they keep falling into the trap?

Is it that...

1. I wonder the same thing.
With the exception of a very few, they really don't seem to realize what's going on. Once in a while, one of them does seem to know and is just trying their best not to laugh, but for the most part, they seem clueless. Is that possible? I don't know.

2. They know what TDS is, but they also know that they'll be on TV...
everything else is unimportant.

Think of what people will do on other shows to be on TV (Fear Factor, for example), and you have a hard time believing they'll willingly be made fun of?

4. My favorite of all time is the one with the kid who was making the anti-
F 9/11 movie. He came off looking like such an ass...and then Michael Moore and Samantha Bee eating lunch at the end....that was just great.
