Good Saturday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Here we are at the weekend! Do you have any big plans for today and tomorrow? I have to close the store tonight, but I have both Sunday and Monday off! :bounce:

1. Good morning, Clintmax!
No big plans yet, but the yardwork is still not finished. Hope you have a wonderful weekend. :hi:

:hi:
I live in an apartment and so don't have to do yardwork. But, if I lived in such a beautiful place, I sure wouldn't mind being outside all the time doing it!

On edit: Why are they called "apart"ments when they're all stuck together?

3. Sometimes I'd wish
to live in a stuck-together apartment and just have a few flowers in pots. The hedge alone is worth a few truckloads of leaves and branches every year. And the plants in my pond are taking over again.

But otherwise, yes, I'm outside a lot and enjoy it.

5. I would too.
I'm going to have to visit Switzerland sometime. Greekspeak and I were in Rome last March and I absolutely loved it! Italy is beautiful too. But we didn't see any sights like the pictures you posted of the area around your house. Breathtaking!

Another question: Why do they call them "permanents" when they're temporary?

9. Well thank you! I will!
Yesterday was a strange day for me as far as sleeping goes. Half on the couch, several hours later, the other half in bed, and then woke up WAY too late. I hate nights like that.

10. Hello, Miss Mutley!
I have heard of the "Leave A Cart" thing...hadn't read the thread though. That's the stupidest goddamn thing I've ever heard of. All that would do is hurt the people in the store that do not need any more hurt in their workdays.

I hope nobody does it.

11. That's what I said.
I went through asking people advocating it if they ever worked retail before. No replies. I'll take that as a no. So I started telling people to get a job at a Walmart, or any retail store, for the Christmas season, then come back to me in January and tell me this "leave a cart" crap is a good idea. Ugh!

13. EVERYBODY'S stories would change if they...
worked in retail for the Christmas season. Return issues would go away, they would treat retail associates with respect and everything!

15. Right?
I wonder how many "liberals" were responsible for making me hate working in retail with a passion.

17. I sometimes try to judge who's a Dem and who's a repug...
by their actions and how they treat me when they're in my store. Two days ago, an old man suprised the hells outta me when he said: "I'm looking for a dining table for my right wing, fascist, republican son." I nearly fell over with laughing!

19. Nice!
During the election last year I reminded all of my customers to vote (I never said who to vote FOR, just to vote); many of them said something like, "YEah! Go Kerry!", or, "Yeah! Go Bush!" so I was able to know who was who. Not that I could let that affect the quality of my customer service, I'm just too good an employee to do that.

The screen just went blank, and I wasn't sure if it went through so I just "back" and "submit" again. :D I once had a post show up five times in one thread. I went a little berserk with the reload button.

But cold...19 degrees...winter is here or almost!

I'm going to do my tabling in Keene this morning and then Will is coming up and then we're going to a party with the folks in my painting class... the dogs and walked and fed, the coffee's on...all is right with the world this morning.
