I hate to see KitchWitch feeling bad. That just ain't right. The Lounge needs her and I need her too bad to let that happen for long.

14. Lake Minnetonka does not have a beach?
What about Cedar Lake, Medicine Lake, White Bear Lake? There's gotta be a beach somewhere in the metro area. Even Smithville Lake has a beach, and it's just a damned river.

Have to go to Mille Lacs for that.

20. LOL
I do like Cedar Lake the best out of all the lakes in Minneapolis proper.

21. I think that is where I went biking.
Except I went around the lake about six times before I figured out I was going the wrong way. When you are going the right way there are lots of signs that say "one way" but when you are going the wrong way, there is not one sign that says "wrong way". At least that was true 20 years ago.

22. Are you sure it wasn't Lake Harriet or even Lake of the Isles?
I do not remember there being a bike trail around the entirety of Cedar Lake.

8. I never thought
of you altering the picture. The sun glitter on the water is just gorgeous, and the bright sunlight on the horizon too.

You capture the moments just perfectly. I'm not good with digital photography yet, and I wis I had a negative scanner so I could put some of my pics up when I still thought of my as a photographer.

11. No worries, my dear CMW!
I didn't mean to sound defensive....just stating a fact......

It isn't hard to be good when the scenery is so wonderful!

I appreciate your compliments a lot, you know!

18. The scenery is quite wonderful,
but as I said, you do have to catch the moment, and you certainly are blessed with capturing these moments.

And these are not empty compliments, honestly. Sometimes I do think since I needed to do it once professionally (the photography) I still resist it somewhat.
