28. Farley Mowat wrote about studying wolves in the tundra

of Manitoba.

At one point, he attempts to determine how his wolves could possibly maintain their healthy weight without hunting. The only solution seemed to be that they subsisted on a diet of mice, which were obnoxiously abundant. So he decides to test his hypthesis by going on a diet of mice himself.

The movie's wonderful, too...That scene is particularly funny. :-)
