It seems to me that we are succumbing to the pressure that being a Liberal is a disagreeable thing. I refuse to buy into that.

3. It's not the 'label', per se, that I have this reaction to. It's the fact

that it seems there has been a capitulation of sorts to the left in renaming ourselves progressives since the left has 'tainted' the word "liberal". That is what I disagree with.

It's as if I went to sleep one night and awoke the next day with the word "Progressive" inserted where "Liberal" used to be?
