Good Wednesday Morning, Everyone!
:donut::hi:
I hope all you NightHawks had a GREAT night! Captain Clintmax of the Morning Crew here, ready to help you get this day started! I went to the fair last night and I must say...I was disappointed. There were a lot of rides and people seemed to be having fun, but to me, it was boring. No livestock on display or anything. x(

So here we are at Wednesday. I hope the rest of the week goes by at warp speed! :bounce:

I can't go on those rides. All they do is take you in a circle inside a circle VERY FAST! Clintmax gets motion sickness really easily. So, I just stand and watch.

You're right about the people being livestock. I felt like I was being herded around most of the time.

So, you were disappointed because there were no livestock on display? When I went to the state fair here 10 years ago I was disappointed because that's pretty much all there was (which is why I never went again).

Wednesday--that means only two more days until the weekend. Bleh.

I pack my coffee grinder, drip coffee pot, thermal carafe, sugar and cocoa powder. I still have almost everything that I used as a snowbird. I thought about packing it.

Other than that one small thing, I'm impressed with the accommodations at a budget price.

The in-room coffee provided by most chains suck anyway  I don't think coffee is as important to some as it is to me.

73. I don't understand how two cups of coffee can make me stop 4 times ...
Thank heavens for rest areas on the thruway and fast food restaurants ...

BTW - I never drink their coffee.

I really am addicted to Dunkin' Donuts coffee. I love the newer stores that are combined with Baskin & Robbins Ice Cream ~ they make a drink that is to die for ~ a Blast. It's a combination of coffee, ice cream and ice - all blended into a wonderful semi frozen drink. I took a large one of those and a large hot latte for my drive. I guess that explains the 4 stops

When I did those stops along my way - I turned on my laptop to check out the Cingular service and was pleased to find that the connection was better than when I'm at home.

So is Krispy Kreme's. I am NOT, however, a fan of frozen coffee drinks. And yes, with that and the hot latte...I can see the 4 stops. I have Cingular's cell phone service and when I'm driving from Florida to Missouri via the state of Alabama, even out in the middle of nowhere, I always have all bars. I'm glad it's working good for you too.

Umm... Livestock?!?

 Ooooh...I love fairs! I don't go for the rides but mainly for the opportunity to piss of the fundies while walking around holding my boyfriend's hand. Always a good time :)

I'm still wired from the great successes for the Democrats last night! Though we did pass an amendment here in TX banning gay marriage...grrr...

:hi:

I wanted to do that too, but he wouldn't because he was afraid we'd get arrested or something.

90. Hiya, Captain!
Last night was a good night in Virginia! We went to the Kaine Headquarters for the party and acceptance speech and it was sweeeeeet! I probably got to bed about 1:30. We are still waiting to see if Deeds can win Atty. Gen. It's really close.

Another great thing is it looks like a couple of real mean homophobic delegates to the General Assembly have been unseated. That's awesome. (And the black eye it gives to Mr. Bush, well, that's sweet too.

Sorry about the Fair. Didn't they even have any giant vegetables?

Later, man!
