Good Sunday Morning, Everybody!
:donut::hi:
Yesterday had to be one of the longest days EVER! With the time change, 7:00 felt like 8:30, and it was dark at 6:30. x( I hope today isn't like that, but until I get completely used to it being dark so early, I guess it will.

How are ya, Nighthawks? I hope you had a great night! How are ya, Morning Crew? Are you ready for this Sunday? :bounce:

1. Good Morning Clint
I went to sleep early last night and slept like a baby.

I may stay up to watch the dawn which BTW is my favorite part of the day.
I wish I were looking at the ocean instead of the mountains.

2. Morning, Miss Joan!
Good to see you today! I would kinda like to be able to wake up and see the mountains. I think they would be beautiful in the ealry morning light. I KNOW the ocean is, so I would have to vote for the mountains myself. I guess it's all in where you live, huh?

3. I guess it's the grass is greener syndrome ...
 I feel restless again ...

I'm thinking about taking a drive north for a few days.

Perhaps I'll see something new while it's still warm enough to walk around without a snowsuit and waterproof boots.

4. I get that way sometimes too...
(restless feeling). I work so much though I don't get much of a chance to "just go" like I'd like to.

6. I do realize that it is a great luxury to have the time for little trips.
Years ago I worked long weeks. Sometimes I was doing two or three jobs at once. I enjoyed being busy and earning money. I loved commission jobs, I loved the challenge. I was one of those type A personalities. It took quite a bit of adjusting my way of thinking to sit quietly for the past 10 years trying to regain my good health. I make the most of my good days. My mind is always seeking something. So I'll pack a cooler with my favorite drinks, cheese, liverwurst and just follow the road for a few days.

7. Wow! That sounds great!
I wish I could do that too. Do you usually go alone, or take someone with you?

10. I travel alone.
When I'm going traveling for more than a few days I take Frodo with me for company so I won't talk the ear off of waitresses and sales clerks. When I first traveling it took a bit of time to get used to not having anyone to carry on a conversation with. Imagine going for weeks when no one knows your name or face.

11. See now, I don't know if I could handle THAT.
I'm not a "by myself" kinda guy. I'd want someone there with me.

14. I don't really care for THAT either.
I would love to have someone to share the sunrise with. I'm sure the wonderful things that I see would be more enjoyable if I could see them with someone. But - traveling alone is better than not traveling at all, I get tired of looking at the same walls.

yep ~ I'm restless ...

like the Stevie Nicks song - Candlebright - I'm a bit of a nomad these days ...

18. It was a peaceful sunrise to start my day.
Today promises to be another beautiful Fall day. It won't be as warm as yesterday :( Most of the trees have gone beyond their peak colors and are becoming barren again. I dislike the way they look by day but I love seeing their silhouettes against the night sky.

19. The colors have just started to change here,
and when I took a little walk a few days ago, there was a slight breeze and the lovely noise of the leaves floating to the ground. Looks like Indian Summer right now, except for the rain and fog.

22. Good morning to all you good people! Big HI to Clintmax!
Here I am, bringing up the rear as usual.....

The Left Coast gets left behind! It's nearly 10AM here...

So that means that on the East coast, it's 1PM...and in Europe, it's 7PM!

How this old globe of ours turns.....and takes our lives along with it.....

Hope everyone's day is going well......
