3. I never did that either.
Makes me wish I had applied for that job - but I didn't want all that extra work without a decent pay raise.

6. see that's what makes them mean
they have the whole world on their shoulders. The only reward they get is the satisfaction of crushing people who get in their way.

15. Yeah but my boss got where he is by stabbing his former supervisor
in the back. So, if I do a bad job, he dumps on me for that, but if I do a good job, he feels threatened, like I want his job or something.
You could always get picked up by a headhunter and goto private industry, if you have proven that you are adept at crushing people. That's what happened to the boss who fired me.
And crushing people is not a means to an end for a sadist, it is the end.

4. I think it is in the job description
my underlings are snarky to me and WTF is up with that? In the work world, just like the DU lounge, it is snark or be snarked.

8. she's getting a kick out of the power she thinks she has.
I have all the knowledge (I wish I didn't, but there is no one capable of having it) - it's not smart to continuously piss me off.

11. Being smarter than my supervisor caused me to quit.
Everyday was like waiting for an idiot to finish the sentence. Torture.

13. I seriously think she (my current supv.) is the worst I have ever had.
And that is saying a lot, because I had one that was a paranoid bi-polar hypochondriac (no joke).
