Does anyone have Vonage phone service? (internet phone line)

I hate QWEST with the passion of a thousand DUers during a Bush press conference. Every month for three months, I've spent hours on the phone with the yahoos that work there. All of whom promise to settle the issue (totally their fault for bad math) and yet do nothing but add more to the bill.

I am looking for alternatives. Has anyone tried Vonage? Does it work? What about the phone quality?

I find the quality to be less then a land line.. But, it works fine. One problem is that when your internet connection dies you can't call to find out what is going on. But overall it was a great move for us..

I also used Qwest.. Never again. Comcast + Vonage = Problem Solved

3. Comcast+Vonage looks like a good deal.

Comcast will give faster internet service + HBO and a DVR for less than mere phone service at QWEST. Vonage is only $17 per month for 500 minutes.
