Ever since 911, it had seemed as if the fix was in. Especially when Bush 'won' the 2004 election, and yet in every case where the exit polls disagreed with the 'result,' the discrepancy went in Bush's favour. Any statistician who looked at that would immediately say, "bullshit." But nobody did. I thought, holy fuck, this is it. They're really doing it to us. And nobody seemed to care.

And now this. It's not as if the regime has fallen or anything, and many bad things may be yet to come, but it is a little chink of light. It is a sign that they are not above the law; that the rule of law still applies. They can't get away with anything they want because there are still people who will stand against them and say no!! That is not allowed! So I beg you please excuse me; I think I may go and cry now.
