Ten years ago I fantasized about being an FBI agent, but my fantasies have drifted in the direction of the CIA. Anybody know what the age cutoff is for CIA, and what sort of background/credentials are required?

Got into an interesting discussion here with a couple of DUers who seemed to know about this. But it was dumb to make a thread. But on the other hand, where else can you learn about this stuff?

Just go after bad people and get them (Interpol). I would not want anything to do with coups in other countries.

Actually, now that I'm thinking about it, this was REALLY A STUPID THREAD. Sorry. I was thinking about the Mission: Impossible fantasy of nailing bad people... Now I'm thinking about stuff like Iran Contra, and feel like a total ass.

7. I'm pretty sure I read they were

trying to rehire people who'd left them after 9-11, so they aren't just after graduates. Their website has a lot of info about how to apply:

You'll also need to pass a background check. There's a really good article online by a guy who applied for a job at the NSA, got quite far, but ultimately was rejected which got into background, interviews, polygraph, psychometric testing, etc & I'd imagine the CIA process is similar. I can't find it at the mo but if I do I'll let you know.

was to try to attract the DUers with experience to discuss it, but that didn't work, so nevermind. This was a dumb thread. I wish I could just delete it.
