NY teams are the most hated in the country.

That's because NY is the most hated city in the country.

As a Red Sox fan in 86, I had to put up with weeks of being literally mocked (at home in MA!) by fellow students from the NY area.

That left me with an undying hatred (in the abstract) for that city and all its teams and all its fans.

I should mention that none of that applies to any of my fellow evilDUers, or even to most NYers. For instance, next year at the Repuke-lickin convention, if I see someone in a Skankees hat getting beaten by some fascist cop, I won't join in, or even just walk by. I'll try to help if I can.

Then, once we're safe, I'll take his hat and throw it in the nearest sewer. :7

I think I read a stat that the Yankees have won 70% of their rings under Democratic leadership. They sure as hell didn't win in the 80's and early 90's, but they were great in the late 90's with Bill Clinton :)
