I was born and bred about 60 mile southwest of Sweatgrass.

Are we neighbors past?

Do you mean Sweatgrass, MN? If so, MN is below Ontario and Manitoba; we in Alberta are quite a bit farther west.

Technically, we're boreal forest this far north, but there is lots of cultivated farmland. This is along our river valley; you can see the city in the background:

I meant the sweetgrass hills, that are
in north central Montana.

I can see them from my grandfather's homestead.

I was in Minnesota in the summer of 1976.

I remember lakes and mosquitos.

I used to live in Lethbridge, Alberta, not very far from the US border. Our landscapes would have been very similar.
