Any inexpensive ideas for a Halloween party for a bunch of 13 year olds?
My bestest friend is letting her daughter have a Halloween party but doesn't have a lot of money to spend on 'stuff'

Any ideas?

5. Amish Barn Raising theme party
They can all wear beards and tell farming jokes.

Examples:

What did the english farmer say when his cow died?
Never done that before.

What did the english farmer name his heifer?
Sanka, she wasn't caffeinated.

13. Try this link
http://www.101halloweenideas.com/halloween_ideas_01.html

At the bottom of the first page, there's another link titled (appropriately enough) "Halloween Links". That takes you to a page with access to lots of other Halloween sites, in addition to the 101 ideas on the first one. Hope it helps... I'm in the same boat as your friend!! :)

14. Less Expensive Ideas
- Movie marathon with concession stand food (popcorn, hotdogs, candy, etc.). I'd recommend more of a comedy/horror movie than a pure slasher film. Maybe Beetlejuice or Lost Boys or Rocky Horror. Depends on the kids.

- Silly games with a Halloween theme - charades, etc.

- Build your own gross (but not sickening) food station - gummy worms, crushed oreos for dirt, red frosting for blood, etc.

15. A walk through the local cemetary?
Scary dvd's afterwords. Maybe have dad get a hockey mask and chase the kids around the yard with a chain saw?

Make sure the kids bring a change of clothing! At least the lower portion!

18. Gross out guessing games & scary movies
a bowl of cold peeled grapes - in the dark and after scary movies do feel like eyeballs.

a bowl of cold spaghetti noodles feels like brains in a bowl.

Lots of other things to do - scary stories, I'd watch Halloween, Terror Train, maybe some old Creature Features if they can be found.

19. Kids that age don't drink that much
When I was thirteen I'd throw up after five beers. Just spring for a few cases or a keg.
