Jello Pudding Pops

Apparently they are made again (I don't remember Popsicle being a part of this before though), but they don't taste as good as they used to. Anyone else taste them recently?

1. THANK YOU SARABELLE...These used to be my favorites and

they werent' made by Popsicle. They were wider and flatter (not round like a popsicle) and had a little bit of solid substance to them...and they actually tasted like pudding. I got excited when I saw them, bought them...and quickly got pissed. Good thing my children will eat anything. :hi:

I was happy to hear they were coming out again. Why can't they make them like they used to?

3. No I haven't but I believe they're made right here

with the rest of the JELLO line. I'll have to ask around to see if they've heard any consumer feedback. Been awhile since I had one.

4. They seemed different than they used to be.

I had one last night and it had probably been 20 years since I last had one. :shrug:

8. as a former temp there

all we made was pudding and jello cups and tapioca and cheesecake in four ounce cups, and also 3 ounce cups for lunchables. They might have switched a line or two over, but I think that would require re-tooling.
Of course, jello was bought out by Kraft foods, which was bought out by Phillip Morris.

11. I've had the tapioca and cheesecake here and love the stuff.

But it's been so long since I've had Pudding Pops I can't remember what they tasted like. I've never been a fan of popsicles or fudge bars unless it's something like Good Humor makes, the Chocolate Eclairs and such.

7. I used to love them.

I tried making them at home with popsicle molds and pudding. I'll give them a try, but I suspect they aren't as good as I remember.

Definitely fatter and wider. And the new ones DO NOT taste like Jello pudding.

Still, they were worth getting to see your reaction... :D
