Group Idea: DU Teenager/Young Adults Group

Proposed mission statement:

The DU Teenager/Young Adults Group is for teenagers and young adults of any age from 12 to 20. This group is to discuss issues facing young adults from culture, school, politics, or any aspect of life.

Any signatures?

1. It's a great idea (I'd join)...BUT Skinner has already said no

because of liability issues. That was in a PM from back in last November.

Doesn't COPPA allow us to though..because when you're 13, you're your own person on the web.

3. That's what I thought too but what he said was...

"Unfortunately, I am concerned that there are liability issues associated with opening up sections of the website specifically for minors. I will have to talk to the lawyers before we do this."

So we could try again, I suppose! I'd really like to have this group.
