Mustaches - yes or no? With or without a beard?
My husband shaved his beard off yesterday and left the mustache, and I hate it! Does a mustache have any business being on a face without an accompanying beard?

I don't have a picture, so I have to pose this as a general question. He has a really long skinny face and pointed chin, sort of a human greyhound. (We're a really odd couple, since I'm more of a pug.)

The beard was sort of goatee-type thing and made him look quite intellectual, but with just the 'stache I think it's dorky. Am I being too critical?

16. Ah yes, I have seen your picture. Thanks for reposting!
You're right. A mustache without the goatee can be quite nice.

I'll have to give this new look of my honey's a chance.

I was going to say it grew on me. LOL - that's another story for another time. Damn that perimenopause!

3. I don't go in for facial hair of any kind.
It makes me look like a giant douchebag.

6. Personally I ~love~ facial hair on a man,
but I'm still going to recommend you give it a couple of weeks before you decide on your hubby's 'stache. I think sometimes just the shock of having a dramatic change in a face you've grown to love can leave a negative impression.

12. Best advice yet.
I wasn't sure if it looked weird because I am unused to it or if it really is unusual. I don't actually pay attention to men and their facial hair or lack of it, but it seems like there are more mustaches with accompanying beards and goatees.

11. I'm not big on facial hair.
Just me! But a man who looks a little scruffy is hot in my book!
