Is Target a good company to work for?
I have a interview on Tuesday and want to know if they are a good to work for or bad like Walmart.

Wal-mart. She says it's much better than where we worked. Just because an operation is a mom and pop affair doesn't mean that it isn't horrible.

3. Target's not mom-and-pop-- they're very corporate.
they're pretty large. IIRC they're the 3rd or 4th largest discount chain in the country.

They recently got rid of business casual dress at their corporate HQ in Minneapolis-- right after they sold off the Marshall Field's chain and all their employees lost their Fields' discounts. Pretty lame.

I think in terms of retail, it's probably resonable. I imagine it varies widely between stores or regions as well. From what I understand they have pretty good benefits.
