as they are a class bunch, save for the surly Randy Johnson. But my loathing of George Steinbrenner knows no bounds. Steinbrenner is the ultimate Republican - a rich lout with a huge sense of entitlement that thinks he can buy anything he wants. What he himself has done, other than opening his checkbook is negligible, though he takes all the credit. The only other people in sports I hate as much as I do Steinbrenner are Kobe Bryant, Barry Bonds and Terrell Owens. Egotistical assholes all, and they always consider themselves more important than their teams. Rooting for the Yanks is like rooting for Microsoft. :puke::puke:

Now Joe Torre, that's another story, and I look forward to seeing him in the Hall of Fame.
