1. 8 was not a good year..... I don't think I had the emotional ability
at that time to even think about my entering into adult years.

Sorry for it being a downer, but it's true.

117. At 8? Wow
At eight my life was bloodstained pockmarked walls, broken dishes, endless screaming, multiple contusions. No vision beyond survival.

At 10 I wanted to be Hef, At 13 I was already a member of the workaday world.

I'm 44 now, I don't know who I want to be when I grow up.

115. Ballerina...tap dance...cowboy, er cowgirl...and "surprise!" a writer.
I banged out a story on my dad's Smith Corona. Still love the smell of the ink ribbon.
I put the story in a manilla envelope -- the kind with the string tie on the back.

I wanted to own a horse. But I lived in LA -- on a cul de sac..surrounded by cement.

I wanted to be a librarian. I used to check out books to the kids on the block.
And a director -- I used to write and direct plays.

Hmmm, I'm close.... English professor and writer.
