I DO agree with you and find the Rammstein version amusing sounding despite whatever disturbing and not funny topic the lyrics refer to. it's his vocals and him singing in English that make it sound so funny.

What American listeners of Rammstein don't understand, because of the language, is what Rammstein actually sings about. Spiel Mit Mir means Play With Me (in a disgusting sense). It's a song about child abuse. Tir means Beast and the song is about a father abusing his child and the mother, knowing, does nothing about it. They, of course, are also very political. :D
