I love Dane Cook! I have both of his CD's and they both make me laugh my ass off. His second CD "Retaliation" made it to number 4 on the Billboard charts, a feat which no other comedy album has been able to do since Steve Martin's "Wild and Crazy Guys" which came out in 1978.
Dane Cook's CD is the most successful comedy album in over 20 years. That has to give him a little credibility, right?

I actually taped his Comedy Central special a while back--I thought it was that funny.

On that, dh bought his recent cd and dvd set. We watched the comedy--it was just ok. Neither of us has listened to the cd yet. Hopefully it's better...

Then we watched one of his older dvd's featuring the comedy central show I taped. Watching it in it's entirety and without their editing--he's not quite as funny. :eyes:

To me, he's just ok. I don't think he's the worst guy out there by any means. I just don't think he's as funny as I used to. :(
